MIT Sloan/LFM team places third

In Annual International Tech Strategy Business Case Competition

MIT Sloan placed third in Boston University’s First Annual International Tech Strategy Business Case Competition, held from March 31-April 1, 2006.

Eleven other top business schools, both domestic and international, also participated in this 24-hour competition. Wharton and Kellogg took the first and second places, respectively. Haas was the other team to make the final round.

The Sloan team members were: team captain Alex Slawsby MBA ’07, Elizabeth Yin MBA ’07, Chris Macomber MBA ’07, and Scott Hiroshige LFM ’06. The team took home $5,000, plus the unexpected promise of phones from Motorola Chairman and CEO Ed Zander—Motorola was the major sponsor of the competition.
