Benefits for LFM industry partners include:

  • sponsoring employees as students in the program
  • sponsoring LFM internships, which focus on addressing critical problems in manufacturing and operations
  • access to MIT faculty and research
  • company-to-company networking and sharing of best practices

Many companies view their partnership with LFM as a way to build organizational strength. They incur return on investment over the short- and long-term by building a cadre of LFM graduates who speak the same language and operate as leaders and change agents within their organizations.
